This dual degree program option offers eligible students the opportunity to earn, in one program of study, an undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) degree from the Faculty of Health & Social Development and a Master of Management degree from the Faculty of Management.
For admission to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Management Dual Degree Program Option, B.S.N. students must submit a written request to nursing.info@ubc.ca. The request must be submitted prior to the completion of Year 2 of the B.S.N. program. Applicants must specify placement in Cohort 3 of the B.S.N. program and clearly outline that the request is for admission to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Management Dual Degree Program Option. Year 2 students must follow the general admission process and satisfy admission requirements of the Faculty of Management Dual Degree Program Option.
In lieu of their Year 4 elective and nursing elective courses, Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Management Dual Degree Program Option students complete COMM_O 101 and COMM_O 105.
After completing their B.S.N. program requirements, Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Management Dual Degree Program Option students complete their Masters of Management Degree Requirements.
Additional fees and application processes are required for the dual degree program option, and are determined by the UBC Okanagan Faculty of Management. For more information, please visit the Faculty of Management Dual Degree Program Option section of the Academic Calendar.
