Language, concepts, and contexts of Indigeneity communicated historically and contemporarily in popular and academic discourse, with a focus on critical discourse analysis conducted through engagements with Indigenous Peoples' perspectives and Indigenist methodologies. Prerequisite: One of ENGL 109, ENGL 112, ENGL 114, ENGL 150, ENGL 151, ENGL 153, ENGL 154, ENGL 155, ENGL 156, APSC 176.
