The earliest possible dissemination of final grades is critical to students. Therefore, in accordance with the provisions of the BC Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 165, instructors may post final grades outside their offices, subject to the following conditions:
- that the instructor take reasonable precautions to ensure and protect confidentiality;
- that the student number and not the name of the student appears on the posting; and
- that the posting clearly states that the final grades, as posted by the instructor, are "unofficial."
Official grades are available on Workday. Any student who must meet an application date for another institution before their official grades are received should contact Enrolment Services to make arrangements to meet the deadline.
