Master of Engineering (M.Eng.)

Admission Requirements

Students admitted to the M.Eng. degree will possess a bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical engineering with a minimum GPA of B+ (76%), as well as specified English language proficiency requirements. Candidates from related fields should enquire with the School of Engineering to determine if their degree meets current admission requirements.

Program Requirements

This degree requires a minimum of 30 credits of coursework, at least 24 of which must be at the 500 level, with at least 12 of the 24 in a preferred discipline. Students select courses from a list of approved courses.

A typical completion time for full-time students taking the M.Eng. program is 12–24 months (3-6 terms), depending on the number of courses the student undertakes each term.

Internship

During the first term of study, students can apply to participate in an optional Internship that takes place in the second year of their study.
