The Faculty of Management at UBC Okanagan provides students with a comprehensive education in the study and practice of management. Through an integrated portfolio of undergraduate and graduate programs, the Faculty prepares students to engage effectively within contemporary organizational and economic environments. Students develop a strong foundation in core management disciplines, including accounting, finance, marketing, organizational behaviour, operations and supply chain management, and strategy. This is enhanced through applied learning opportunities, professional skill development, and work-integrated learning opportunities with industry and community partners. Coursework emphasizes analytical thinking, evidence-based decision making, responsible leadership, and effective collaboration in dynamic and complex organizational settings.

The Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) undergraduate program provides students with essential knowledge and technical competencies across a broad range of business functions. With a curriculum that integrates foundational coursework, experiential and applied learning, the program equips graduates for a career in business, entrepreneurial pursuits, or continued study at the graduate level.

The full-time Master of Management (M.M.) is a twelve-month graduate program designed for recent undergraduates seeking advanced management training to support early career progression. The program emphasizes core managerial and leadership competencies, applied learning, and professional readiness across organizational settings.

The part-time Master of Management (M.M.) supports working professionals wishing to advance their management capabilities while maintaining employment. Delivered over 12-25 months, the program focuses on strategic decision making, leadership development, and the application of management theory to workplace contexts.

The Dual Degree Master of Management (M.M.) offers qualified UBC undergraduate students an accelerated pathway to earn both their bachelor’s degree and the M.M. in as little as four and a half years. This option integrates undergraduate studies with graduate level management training and provides students with a competitive early career credential.

Through these academic programs and engagement with applied research and community partners, the Faculty of Management equips graduates with the knowledge, skills, and managerial capabilities needed to contribute effectively across private, public, non‑profit, and emerging sectors.
