This dual degree program offers students the opportunity to complete a Bachelor of NłeɁkepmx Language Fluency (B.Nłek.) degree from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree from the Okanagan School of Education.
Students wishing to pursue the Bachelor of NłeɁkepmx Language Fluency and Bachelor of Education dual degree program option must complete the specific program requirements listed below. These requirements are inclusive of the admission requirements for the B.Ed. portion of the dual degree program option. Indigenous Programs and Services can help plan these courses.
Admission Requirements
Students enrolled in Year 3 of the B.Nłek. program may apply for admission to the dual degree program option. Admission to the dual degree is conditional. Prior to enrolment, students must satisfy all B.Nłek degree requirements, including the following courses:
- INLG_O 380
- INDG_O 405
Criminal record checks and other regulatory requirements must be satisfied prior to participation in field experiences.

In addition to the previous completion of the NłeɁkepmx Language Certificate Diploma, students must complete 63 credits as follows:
